Each class is a different theme working on different parts of the body or specific types of practice.
Some classes are soft, others strong and many in between.
1. 30 MINUTE DOSE OF YOGA BACKBENDS:
A short and concise practice with the Dog Pose sequence, Hip openings, Sun Salutations and BACKBENDS followed by a short cooling down pose. Improves all over flexibility, generates heat and energy in the body and focuses the mind.
2. 30 MINUTE DOSE OF YOGA ARMS & CORE:
A short and concise practice strengthening the CORE & ARMS. Practice abdominal asanas plus an arm balance followed by a cooling down pose. Improves strength of the abdominal muscles, arms and hip flexes.
3. 30 MINUTE DOSE OF YOGA GENERAL:
A short and concise GENERAL practice with the Dog Pose sequence, Hip openings and SUN SALUTATIONS followed by a short cooling down pose. Improves all over flexibility, generates heat and energy in the body and focuses the mind.
4. 30 MINUTE DOSE OF YOGA HIPS:
A short and concise practice opening the HIPS along with the Dog Pose sequence followed by a short cooling down pose. Improves flexibility in the hips and groins, generates energy in the body and focuses the mind.
5. 30 MINUTE DOSE OF YOGA INTERNAL ROTATION OF HIPS:
A short and concise practice on INTERNAL ROTATION OF THE HIPS. Practice looks at how to access Virasana and Supta Virasana, rotating the hips inwardly, extending hips the ankles and shins. Improves the flexibility in the hips, knees, ankles and knees.
6. 30 MINUTE DOSE OF YOGA SUN SALUTATIONS:
A short and concise practice on SUN SALUTATIONS. Learn the full Salute to the Sun properly with integrated breathing. Improves co-ordination, flexibility and general fitness.
7. 30 MINUTE DOSE OF YOGA PRANAYAMA (BREATHING) CLASS:
An informative practice learning 4 different Yoga pranayama practices. Improves energy in the body, oxygen in the blood stream, improves concentration and steady’s the mind.
8. 30 MINUTE DOSE OF YOGA RESTORATIVE:
A short RESTORATIVE practice that utilises gentle supported Yoga poses, breathing and meditation techniques. Improves one’s relaxation responses and promotes a quiet mind and a relaxed body.
9. 30 MINUTE DOSE OF YOGA TWISTS:
A short and concise practice on TWISTING ASANAS rotating the torso, spine and back. Improves elasticity in the back and spine and flexibility to the hips.
10. 30 MINUTE DOSE OF YOGA MORNING PRACTICE:
A short and concise practice MORNING PRACTICE to start the day. Practice consists of breathing, Dog Pose sequence, Sun Salutations and chest opening pose. Improves energy levels increasing oxygen in the blood stream and prana in the subtle body.
